<p>-Must be able to perform all production roles</p>
<p>-Occasional lifting of up to 50lbs required</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Required Experience</p>
<p>-Meat Production Industry Experience or Food Production Industry 3-5 years</p>
<p>-Production Management 3-5 years</p>
<p><strong> </strong></p>
<p><strong>1) </strong>Plan and execute company vision through operations.<strong> </strong></p>
<p><strong>a) </strong>Establish customer expectations in joint effort to make our client their customers.<strong> </strong></p>
<p><strong>b) </strong>Execute operational plan and evaluate performance against annual budget and company’s long term strategy.<strong> </strong></p>
<p><strong>c) </strong>Execute operational objectives in regard to the strategic plan.<strong> </strong></p>
<p><strong>d) </strong>Participate in key decisions pertaining strategic initiatives, operating model and operational execution.<strong> </strong></p>
<p><strong> </strong></p>
<p><strong>2) </strong>Manage and control profitability for our client.<strong> </strong></p>
<p><strong>a) </strong>In coordination with the Vice President of plant operations, develop tools and systems to provide operational excellence, and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations.<strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>b) </strong>Operational Excellence.<strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>i) </strong>Oversee, direct, and coordinate activities directly related to plant operations.<strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>ii) </strong>Manage staff, prepare work schedules, and assign specific duties.<strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>(1) </strong>Coordinate weekly meetings to get feedback and review concerns.<strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>iii) </strong>Monitor inventory on make to stock items.                                                                                                     <strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>iv) </strong>Ensure timeliness of shipping and receiving.<strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>v) </strong>Order and purchase production related supplies.<strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>vi) </strong>Work directly with maintenance, warehouse and production employees.                     <strong></strong></p>
<p>vii)   Report plant performance daily, product performance, maintenance/equipment issues (breakdowns) to VP of plant operations and other necessary departments.</p>
<p><strong>viii) </strong>Participate in new customer process.<strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>(1) </strong>New item setup, including: research and development, production capability, and profitability.<strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>(2) </strong>New customer conversions, including:  evaluation of existing product and match to our client’s capabilities.<strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>c) </strong>Financial<strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>i) </strong>Review monthly budget performance with VP of plant operations.<strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>ii) </strong>Review production reports and efficiencies with VP of plant operations.<strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>iii) </strong>Identify, implement and evaluate cost reduction opportunities.<strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>iv) </strong>Identify, implement and evaluate efficiency improvements.<strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>v) </strong>Identify new equipment Return on Investment (ROI).<strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>d) </strong>Governance<strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>i) </strong>Awareness of USDA regulations and compliance.<strong></strong></p>
<p><strong> </strong></p>
<p><strong>3) </strong>Manage and execute standard operating procedures for all operational functions<strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>a) </strong>Manage department policies, goals, and procedures.<strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>b) </strong>Implement and control Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).<strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>c) </strong>Implement and control Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).<strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>d) </strong>Implement and control Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) in regard to Operations.<strong></strong></p>
